This course is for beginners but is best for those who have taken the introductory course: ABCs of Joyful Presence, or who have some experience with a meditation practice.
In order to get the full benefit and support group cohesion, you are asked to commit to all four sessions. Virtual attendees are asked to keep their cameras on remain fully engaged with the group.
Through this course, Donisha Dunn, MD will share powerful insights and practices that can carry you through difficult times- in order to find joy in the midst of it all. While the Introductory course focused on the ABCs of presence in order to nurture a joyful life, this course will focus on the REMEDIES TO SUFFERING and putting them into practice; experiencing the powers of Intention, Trust, Forgiveness, Equanimity, and more!
The course will include engaging didactic lessons, immersive guided meditation sessions, and interactive question and answer sessions to deepen your understanding and enrich your experience. I will guide you through a journey of self-discovery, offering valuable tools to help you navigate life’s challenges with courage and care. Together, we will embark on a transformative path of finding joy amidst difficult times.
While participation in this course does not entail a doctor-patient relationship, as an experienced psychiatrist, yoga, and meditation teacher, Dr. Dunn will provide the support, guidance, and tools that you need in order to live a more skillful and joyful life!
