Breathwork Workshop: Bridging Science, Spirituality, and Mental Health

April 27 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Embark on a transformative journey into the profound realm of breathwork with Dehan Elcin, a pioneer in the field and a Level III Certified Therapeutic Breathwork™ facilitator. Join us for an insightful exploration of evidence-based breathwork practices, designed specifically for healing practitioners and healthcare providers seeking to enhance their skills and well-being.

Dehan will illuminate the intersection of science and spirituality behind the practice of breathwork. Drawing from his personal journey and cutting-edge research in Cognitive Neuroscience at Tulane University, he will delve into the physiological and psychological effects of slow, diaphragmatic breathing and faster, conscious connected breathing. He will also share anecdotal evidence of breathwork’s ability to induce deeply spiritual experiences and facilitate profound healing based on his own experience and through working with clients.

Discover how these techniques impact stress reduction, anxiety management, mood enhancement, and overall well-being, and what existing research has discovered. Gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind these practices, including their influence on the parasympathetic nervous system, vagal tone, and heart-rate variability.
