The Mind Body Collective is thrilled to have hosted Santosha Village's annual fundraiser in our event space with Kula, their mobile community center, parked outside! 💫 @santosha.village is on a mission to create spaces that foster belonging, community, and well-being for everyone, especially our most forgotten citizens. 🌈

🌟 About Santosha Village:

Santosha Village has launched "Kula," a mobile community center providing essential services and support for the unhoused. This year alone, they've made a significant impact by serving over 4,000 meals, providing 300 showers, 600 haircuts, laundering 120 loads of clothes, and distributing 120 tents! 🙌

🏡 Building for the Future:

Now, Santosha is creating "Shala," a beautiful home and intentional co-living community centered on healing and well-being. In a world where 60% of US citizens are just one paycheck away from homelessness, Santosha is creating a self-governed community focused on well-being, financial sustainability, and social determinants of health. This includes access to transportation, healthy food, safe and supportive housing, and more. 💖

🌟 About Jessica: Since childhood, Jessica has been drawn to the realms of body and healing. Her journey began in 2000 when she discovered yoga, marking the inception of a transformative relationship with meditation and mindfulness. In 2002, she earned her Reiki I certification, paving the way for her future in holistic therapies.

Embarking on a professional path, Jessica initially entered the therapeutic world as a licensed social worker. While fulfilling, the demands of the field led her to prioritize her own well-being. During this crucial period, she immersed herself in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), unlocking profound insights into stress, trauma, and the body's innate self-regulation.

In 2010, Jessica commenced her BCST training with the esteemed Gary Peterson, RCST, at the STAR Institute. In 2011, she delved into massotherapy, obtaining her license as a massage therapist. Accumulating over 1000 hours of BCST training and completing two Northern-style Thai-Yoga massage courses, Jessica's expertise is multifaceted.

Her commitment to holistic well-being extends to vibrational therapy, where she masterfully incorporates singing bowls, tuning forks, and drumming to enhance the mind-body coherence. Jessica's eclectic approach is fueled by a genuine passion for supporting her clients' unique needs.
