This comprehensive course offers:

1๏ธโƒฃ Expert Guidance: Led by Dr. Dunn, a seasoned psychiatrist, yoga, and meditation teacher, who will provide invaluable insights and tools to navigate life’s challenges.

2๏ธโƒฃ Interactive Learning: Engaging didactic lessons, immersive guided meditation sessions, and interactive Q&A sessions to deepen understanding and enrich the meditation experience.

3๏ธโƒฃ Community Support: Join a supportive online group to share experiences, ask questions, and foster group cohesion.

4๏ธโƒฃContinuing Education Credits (CE/CME): Earn 10 CE/CME credits available for Physicians (ACCME), Nurses (ANCC), Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, Pharmacists, Dentists, Dietitians / Dietetic Technicians

Commitment: To ensure maximum benefit and group cohesion, commitment to all four sessions is expected. Virtual attendees are asked to keep cameras on for engagement.

About Dr. Donisha Dunn, MD

Donisha Dunn, MD is a physician board certified in psychiatry and internal medicine. She is also a meditation and yoga teacher. As the founder of The Mind Body Collective,ย she’s dedicated to promoting holistic wellness.

Education & Career: Dr. Dunn completed her medical education at LSU New Orleans in 2003 and pursued a combined Internal Medicine/Psychiatry residency at Rush University Medical Center. She later served as faculty at Tulane University, pioneering the integration of mental health care into primary care settings.

Professional Journey: Transitioning to private practice in 2014, Dr. Dunn focused on integrating primary and mental health care in Greater New Orleans. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed a telemedicine practice. She founded The Mind Body Collective, providing a collaborative space for wellness practitioners and community events.

Yoga & Meditation: Dr. Dunn discovered yoga in 2009, recognizing its profound impact on mental and physical well-being. Trained in cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapies, she became a certified yoga teacher in 2013 through Swan River Yoga. In 2023, she completed the 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program under Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, enhancing her expertise in mindfulness practices.
